How much does a damp survey cost?

Our residential damp survey is a flat £300 inc VAT for a London home. That one price covers the full inspection and your written report, delivered in 2–3 working days. No call-out fee, no extras for the report, no obligation to book any works afterwards.

What the fee includes

  • Full internal and external inspection, typically 1–2 hours on site
  • Moisture readings and profiling with calibrated instruments
  • Photographic documentation of every defect
  • A 15–25 page written report with diagnosis and prioritised recommendations
  • A report format accepted by lenders and solicitors

Other survey types

Commercial damp surveys, multi-area and portfolio programmes, timber surveys, pre-purchase surveys, and water damage surveys are priced on enquiry, because scope varies so much. A two-room office is a different job from a six-storey block. Send us the details and we'll give you a fixed quote up front; per-unit costs on portfolio work are significantly lower than commissioning surveys individually.
