What does Henderson Wood do?

Henderson Wood is an independent damp and timber surveying practice based in Lewisham, covering every London borough. We diagnose damp, mould, condensation, and timber problems in residential and commercial property, then give you a clear written report with the cause, the evidence, and a prioritised plan for what to do next, all carried out to RICS standards.

Independence is the whole point

Much of the damp industry offers free surveys funded by the treatments they lead to. We work the other way round: you pay a fixed fee for the survey, and in return the advice is completely unbiased. If the fix is a £40 extractor fan adjustment rather than a £4,000 damp proof course, that's exactly what the report will say. This is why our reports are trusted by buyers, sellers, solicitors, lenders, landlords, and managing agents.
