Mould Removal & Multi Room Extraction System Installed - Edgware HA8 - November 2024
Mould present in bedrooms despite tenants opening windows and keeping the heating on and using a tumble dryer. We proposed a Multi Room Extraction System to the Landlord who eventually agreed as we had proven results from other properties where the mould symptoms had been eradicated. The mould was removed and the walls decorated with good quality anti-mould paint. The extraction system is installed into the roof space, connected up a power source, ducts suck humid air from each room on the upper floor via diffusers fitted onto each ceiling and the humid air is extracted to the atmosphere via a roof tile vent outlet, when the bathroom shower is in use the system automatically goes into boost mode to increase air suction flow allowing all the condensation to be sucked out of the property. we have been checking in with the tenant on a monthly basis and the mould has not returned, the air in the house is fresher and not humid any longer. Result: happy tenant and satisfied landlord.
